Here at seoplus+ the success of our clients is of the utmost importance to us. From time-to-time we like to share the results of our work with a case study. The following SEO case study describes a SEM campaign with a local Counselling Services company in Ottawa. Hope you enjoy it!
The Client:
Ottawa Counselling & Mediation services is a local business offering counselling, mediation, and hypnosis services. They contacted us in hopes that we could help them with their Search Engine Marketing. The Counselling Services industry is extremely competitive, however they had good visibility in the SERPs. They were also getting a significant amount of traffic, but were not getting many leads from their website.
Website: www.ottawacounselling.com
Category: Counselling Services
Time-frame: 12 Months
Campaign Goal: Convert web traffic into leads
Obstacles:
The current website had been designed approximately 10 years prior, and the client was quite fond of the site. We needed to convince him that a re-design would be a beneficial endeavour.
Strategy:
We recommended that a website re-design was necessary to both allow search engines to navigate the website, and to convert existing traffic into qualified leads. We designed and implemented a brand new website, completely optimized to allow for ease of crawling by search engines. We setup a blog for the client and assisted the client in adding relevant content. We also setup goal and conversion tracking so we could track the success of the campaign.
Results: Increased Leads
In the first 3 months the client had received 75% more leads and by month 6 the client had a 500% increase in phone call and e-mail leads generated from the website.
