Making frequent updates is also very important. No one wants to keep checking the company’s blog only to find the same old post week after week. Keeping your company’s blog relevant to any changes in the company or any changes in the field will serve to make sure your readers are informed and interested.

Be honest

Make sure your blog writing is honest. Keep marketing and the hard sell out of it. This is a place to open conversations in a more friendly style that will entice readers and make your company feel less like a corporation and more like the mom and pop place around the corner.

Your blog is where you establish credibility for what product or service your company offers. If you have opened the lines of communication and addressed problems and concerns in a non-threatening way, consumers will respond to this positively and your company can only benefit.
